Case-3846
Example of cancer reconstruction using plastic surgery technique to repair the defect. This male patient had an aggressive skin cancer removed from his left cheek region – leaving him with a large defect or hole. I was able to repair the defect by using the surrounding skin and soft tissue. This is called a ‘rotation flap’ where the adjacent skin is mobilized and used to close the hole. Notice after reconstructive surgery how he appears essentially normal with minimal signs of me having done any work to him.
