Case-4087
This is an example of an eyelid lift with ptosis (pronounced toe-sis) repair. This patient had a functional problem with her upper eyelids where they hung down too low into her iris (the colored part of the eye). Dr. Hilinski performed an eyelid lift with shortening of the levator muscle in the eyelid to give her eyes a more open appearance. In addition, he corrected the asymmetry, or difference between the two eyes.
