Example of gauge earring repair in this female patient who desired to have her earlobes restored to a more natural look. These photos show her results at essentially one week out. We are showing these photos to demonstrate how the healing process unfolds and how normal patients can generally expect to appear this soon after surgery. Although you can still that her scar is everted and healing, with more time this will fade away. Overall, you can really appreciate how much change was made to the ear in an attempt to restore a naturally looking earlobe following gauge piercing.
