Case # 118
This is an example of cosmetic rhinoplasty to help address what is called a ptotic nasal tip – a tip that droops down excessively. Notice on how her front view, the tip of the nose appears too wide and misshapen. Using an open rhinoplasty approach, I was able to reposition her tip to a higher location while providing with her a nice improvement on the side view as well. Even with smiling (where her tip looked even more droopy), her nasal tip remains appropriately in place.
