Case # 159
Example of nasal fracture rhinoplasty repair. This is another example of how some patients require more of a finesse type of rhinoplasty reconstruction to repair a fractured (broken) nose. This patient broke his nose with the result being his left bone was pushed out to the side creating asymmetrical shadowing when seen from the front. The nose was fixed using rhinoplasty technique to re-create a symmetrical bridge contour on both sides. Is this somewhat subtle? Yes – but in some cases this is a sufficient enough change to bother a patient and warrants surgical repair.
