Example of reconstructive plastic surgery to remove a fairly large keloid scar from this young lady’s ear. Notice how her ear now looks normal – without any significant distortion of the underlying, native anatomy – with no recurrence of the keloid scar. In the hands of a board certified plastic surgeon, this type of outcome is considered the standard.
